With the
approval from Netball Australia, Hong Kong
Netball follows the Netball Australia’s Coach
Education Framework which supports the development of
coaches from beginner or club level through to international
level.
Upcoming coaching courses will be announced soon....
Coaches are
able to progress along the six-tier accreditation pathway
depending on their personal aspirations and ability.
          
Coaches who have previously attained a Level One Netball
Australia accreditation, it is equivalent to the Development
Level Accreditation.
Coaches who have previously attained a Level Two Netball
Australia accreditation, it is equivalent to the Advanced
Level Accreditation.
FOUNDATION
COURSE:
a two day course (2
x 4
hours) for beginner and school/club coaches including Beginning
Coaching General Principles combined with the skills of
netball. A reduced course can be presented if the
participants have teaching qualifications in Physical
Education.
DEVELOPMENT
COURSE: a
two day course (2x 4 hours) for club coaches. A Section 1 Theory
Examination Pass is a pre-requisite.
INTERMEDIATE
COURSE:
designed for club and
representative coaches. The Intermediate General Principles
Course is a pre-requisite. At this stage, Intermediate
Course is not offered in Hong Kong. Interested coaches may
have to go overseas to complete the course. Once there are
enough coaches who are qualified to complete the
Intermediate Course, HKNA will look at offering an
Intermediate Course for those coaches.
*Advanced,
Elite and High Performance Courses are not offered in Hong
Kong.
Please note that
successful participants will only be certified with a
Hong Kong Netball
Coaching Accreditation Certificate.
