The Junior Netball League (JNL)
is a club based competition for Primary (13's & under) and Secondary (19's &
under) netballers where independent
clubs are welcome. Schools are very welcome to enter as a
club. The aim of this competition is to give junior
netballers in HK more competition and to
culminate all the juniors netballers from different schools
or background into one competition. For JNL Club's

The first JNL (Nov to
Dec competition 2009) was very successful and we had three
divisions: Division 1, division 2 and Primary division.
Since then, the structure and format has slightly changed
due to increase number of teams. The changes were made
to ensure that teams will play consistently throughout the
competition dates and also to group the teams with the same
age and ability together to ensure fair competition.
In the last competition held in Spring
2011, we had an increased in team's
entries. In the Primary division, we had 12 teams
entered which was split into Cup and Plate Division. In the
Secondary Competition, we had a
total of 23 teams entered. There were 17 teams entered
in the Development Division and 6 teams in the Premier
Division. The Development Division was
split into Cup, Bowl and Plate Division.
The
Premier Division is for the players of the older age groups
and for the more experienced players, there were 5 teams in
the Premier Division. The Development Division is for
players of the younger age groups (13 ~ 15 years of age) and
is more suitable for players who are beginners and still
learning about the game. In the Primary Division, boys
are eligible to play. A maximum of two boys are
allow on the court at one time per team. For more information, please

Eligibility:
(Please note the changes for 2011-12 Competition)
For the SECONDARY Competition: Any girl who is 19 years
old or under by 31st December
2012.
For the PRIMARY Competition: Any player who is 13 years
old or under by 31st December
2012. Maximum
of 2 boys are allow to take the court per team in the
Primary Division.
